Tej Pratap Yadav , who recently floated his new party Jan Shakti Janta Dal , has launched an attack on RJD , his ancestral party from which he was sidelined.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, the eldest son of Lalu Prasad Yadav slammed RJD leader and his younger brother Tejashwi on the question of not having his parents' picture on Jan Shakti Janta Dal's poster.
“My parents belong to a different political party. How can I paste their pictures on my party's posters? They are in the RJD,” he said, adding, “Parents' pictures are missing from Tejashwi Yadav 's hoardings too. Go and ask Jaichand about it,” accusing him of being a traitor within the setup with the reference.
Tej Pratap, whose ouster was announced by his father himself, said, "I revere my parents, and they are in my heart. A photo can be displayed on a hoarding today and removed tomorrow," insisting on the insignificance of pictures.
In May, Tej Pratap Yadav put out a "12-year-long relationship" Facebook post, and later claimed that his account was "hacked". A day later, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad expelled him from the party for six years, citing ignorance of "moral values" in his personal life.
