Samsung Galaxy M17 5G smartphone is now up for sale in India. The device can be purchased through Amazon, Samsung .com, and select retail outlets. Samsung Galaxy M17 5G was announced earlier this month. It is priced at Rs 12,499 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 6GB and 8GB RAM versions are priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,499, respectively. Customers can also avail no-cost EMI options for up to three months through leading banks and NBFCs.

Samsung Galaxy M17 5G features a 50MP triple rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and includes ultra-wide and macro sensors. The front camera is 13MP. The phone has a 7.5mm slim body, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It is available in Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black colours.
The smartphone sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with up to 1100 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Exynos 1330 processor built on a 6nm process. The Galaxy M17 5G runs Android 15 with One UI 7 and supports six years of security updates and six generations of OS upgrades, according to Samsung.
AI and other features
Samsung said the phone supports Circle to Search with Google and Gemini Live, features aimed at expanding AI use in its Galaxy lineup. It also includes Samsung Knox Vault for data protection, Voice Focus for clearer calls, and Samsung Wallet with Tap & Pay support.
The Galaxy M17 5G succeeds the Galaxy M16 5G and continues Samsung’s M-series focus on mid-range 5G smartphones.
