Shillong: The Meghalaya unit of BJP, a constituent of the ruling Meghalaya Democratic Alliance, has decided to launch a series of workshops and awareness campaigns across the state to address and dispel ‘misinformation' surrounding the Waqf (Amendment) Act, reports Manosh Das.
State BJP leader Gagan Jain said, "We were informed and guided by our leadership that it is our responsibility to spread the truth about the Act and counter the misinformation being spread by the opposition".
