Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will likely want to "protect" their mum Sarah Ferguson but one expert has made one worrying prediction just days after the latest royal scandal. Sarah, 65, has recently come under fire following new revelations about an email that she had sent to the late Jeffrey Epstein in 2011 after his release from jail following child sex offences.
The royal can be seen issuing an apology for disassociating herself from her "supreme friend" when it had emerged that he had bailed her out financially. Prior to sending the emails, Sarah said in an interview that her involvement with Epstein had been a "gigantic error of judgment". A spokesperson said that Sarah had only sent the emails after Epstein - who took his own life in prison in 2019 - made threats to sue her.
With Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson now facing criticism after their association with the late convicted sex offender, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond also believes that their daughters will be struggling with the aftermath of yet another scandal.
Speaking to the Mirror, Ms Bond said: "As for [Princesses] Beatrice and Eugenie, anyone with a heart must surely feel sorry for them.
"It seems they have had to witness their parents' public humiliation time and again. And that must be incredibly hard when you love someone."
Discussing their relationship with their mum, Ms Bond added: "There's no doubt that Sarah has been a brilliant mother to her girls, and they will protect her and love her through thick and thin."
Expressing a worrying prediction, the expert then said that she fears there will be "more to come".
She said: "And that's just as well, because this really is worse than anything Sarah has been through before. And I fear there is more to come."
As a result of the latest scandal, Sarah has been dropped as patron for a number of charities that she was associated with - including Julia's House, Prevent Breast Cancer, Teenage Cancer Trust and Children's Literacy Charity.
