A has been launched after a woman vanished shortly after leaving work.
Paria Veisi, 37, from the Cathays area of Cardiff was hasn't been seen since 3pm on Saturday, April 12.
She was last sighted when she left her place of work in Canton, she had been seen driving her black GLC 220 in Canton at 3pm that afternoon.
The vehicle was later located a mile away by police in Dorchester Avenue, Penylan on Tuesday evening.
A desperate hunt was launched to try and locate her after her loved ones reported her missing. Her disappearance is described as being totally out of character.
Police have now confirmed a 41-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
South Wales Police who are leading the case say they have "no proof" she is alive.
Officers jave confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
Detective chief inspector Matt Powell, the senior officer investigating the case, said: "I can confirm that the investigation into the disappearance of Paria Veisi is now a murder investigation.
"I currently have no proof that Paria is alive.
"Her family and friends are extremely concerned that they have not heard from her which is totally out of character.
"Paria's family have been informed and we are keeping them updated.
"We have two people in custody, and at this stage we are not looking for anybody else in connection with this investigation.
"Our investigation remains focussed on Paria's movements after she left work in Canton area on Saturday, April 12.
"Extensive CCTV and house-to-house enquiries are being carried out by a team of officers and I am appealing for anybody who has information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to make contact."
Paria has long, curly, black hair and she was last seen wearing a black zip-up gym top over a red top, black trousers, and trainers.
She was also carrying a small handbag.
