Following a series of controversial incidents in the house, Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has officially been due to what CBB described as "further use of inappropriate language and unacceptable behaviour."
Since entering the CBB house at the beginning of the competition, Mickey has been embroiled in controversy, making several fat-phobic and homophobic comments, as well as criticising his co-stars' cooking abilities. Despite warnings from CBB to monitor his language and behaviour, another incident has now resulted in his expulsion from the competition.
A representative for Celebrity Big Brother stated: "Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour."
It is believed that after the offensive remarks on Wednesday, there were additional incidents involving Rourke, with the final straw being a confrontation with 's Chris Hughes during a task.
While the disagreement did not escalate into physical violence, the exchange led to behaviour and language that was deemed threatening and aggressive, leaving CBB with no option but to ask Rourke to exit the house, reports
The latest controversy comes hot on the heels of previous altercations with his housemates, including a series of homophobic slurs directed at JoJo Siwa. He made inappropriate comments about Siwa's sexual orientation, stating, "If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay anymore."
He further offended the singer by saying he would "tie you up" and later declared his intention to "vote out the lesbian", which led to Siwa confronting the star over his homophobic behaviour.
In another incident, he crassly remarked, "I need a f**", in reference to wanting a cigarette, but then pointedly told Siwa, "I'm not talking to you."
This caused Chris Hughes to step in and defend Jojo, admonishing Mickey with a firm "you can't say that", though it seems the warning went unheeded.
Following these events, Mickey was called into the diary room for an official reprimand from Big Brother and subsequently issued an apology. However, any signs of repentance were fleeting as he soon faced backlash for making fatphobic remarks towards Donna Preston.

Even before these episodes aired, Rourke had already attracted negative attention from viewers for his "creepy" conduct towards AJ Odudu during Monday's launch show. Complaints arose due to the "uncomfortable" length of time he spent ogling her body, leading AJ to ask him to "stop looking at me."
To compound his troubles on the show, another episode saw him upsetting actress Patsy Palmer to tears with continuous digs at her culinary skills.
Mickey's string of misdemeanours has even led some viewers to take to social media, threatening a boycott unless he is taken off the programme.
After Rourke received an initial warning, one appalled viewer demanded on X: "Sorry a warning isn't enough. Telling a 21 year old he'll tie her up? She won't be gay anymore? All the language he used? He's disgusting and should be removed straight away. #CBBUK #CBB."
