Drivers are facing delays on the M5 after two serious incidents occured on the north and southbound carriageways. Emergency services rushed to the scene of with a Police Led Incident between Junction 3 Quinton and Junction 2 Oldbury after a body was found this morning.
Concurrently, emergency services were also summoned to scene of a "serious collision" which led to the closure of the northbound carriageway between Junction 1 for West Bromwich and the M6.
Two motorcyles and a car were involved in the crash which left two men on the motorbikes with serious injuries.
The M5 has is now fully reopened following two incidents this morning, National Highways has confirmed.
The the last stretch that remained closed (between junctions 3 and 2 northbound) was reopened shortly before 4pm, but the government agency warned drivers to "allow for extra journey time whilst the remaining residual delays clear on approach".
