In the heart of Huddersfield sits a quaint and quiet spa hotel where stars of the soaps flock to. The Titanic Spa is a UK luxury spa destination and has long been the secret getaway for some of the country's most famous faces - and I was lucky enough to give it a try for myself.
From pampering weekends to private hen dos and high-profile celebrations, many big names, including some of Corrie's favourites, have visited the must-see destination. Samia Longchambon, Jack P Shepherd and Jane Danson are just some of the names that have come through the doors, while Tina O'Brien even opted to host her star-studded hen-do there. And it is absolutely no surprise as the Titanic Spa offers a range of indulgent treatments, from signature facials and massages to luxury wellness packages, all set in a serene environment designed for relaxation, privacy, and glamour.
I took my mum for a luxurious pamper and we were treated to a package which included a treatment, full access to the spa services, lunch and an evening meal, a continental breakfast, and a stay in a super spacious apartment.
It is no wonder that celebs are constantly glowing when they have access to spas like this one. The treatment menu is beyond extensive and impressive, with pregnancy treatments and massages to exfoliating, detox and body therapies for an all-over body glow - there really is something for everyone.
I opted for a full body massage after suffering from a painful back, with my bones constantly cracking like I'm old before my time whenever I moved. This place provided a miracle cure for that as I received one of the best massages I have ever had in my life - and my back no longer makes any questionable noises!
After the treatment, which was provided in a serene room by a very talented professional, I floated around the spa for the rest of the day.
What surprised me was the number of facilities available. From foot spas and cold plunges to saunas and aromatherapy rooms, it really did have it all. One thing that really took me by surprise was the outdoor hot tub with beautiful, scenic views.
It may have been a very cold Autumn day, and usually I hate the cold, but taking a dip in there made me feel like all of my worries were melting away. It was the most relaxed I have felt in a long time.
The food was also absolutely stunning, and I didn't leave a single crumb on either of my plates. Service was fast and delivered with a smile - a small gesture that goes a long way.
If you ever do visit the spa then a stay in one of the many aparthotel rooms is a must. Each room is two floors, with a balcony overlooking some beautiful greenery.
It's a perfect place to get your head down after a full day of relaxation, and has everything you need, including a full kitchen and a cosy living area. All in all, I can truly see why celebs choose the Titanic Spa. It oozes luxury and class and the treatments and service are certainly star quality.
If you decide to visit, why not try the Twilight Evening Spa: The perfect package for all schedules, this evening spa starts at 6pm, giving you the perfect end to your day, use the full facility use including the outdoor sunken hot tub under the stars, with departure up until 9pm. From £55 per person.
