During today's instalment of GB News with Tom Harwood and Emily Carver, shocking new videos of French authorities giving out lifejackets and water bottles to migrants before they made the perilous journey across the Channel were shared.
Broadcaster Mark White explained the situation by showing video clips to viewers. He said: "There have been a lot of accusations made online against the French that they have been enabling small boat crossings in the English Channel by escorting these small boats safely through the Channel into UK waters. Not just that, but they are handing out life jackets as well."
He then cut to a video of French authorities handing out water bottles to migrants on small boats. Mark added: "Why on earth do they need to be doing that? People will argue."

He also said he is expecting a political reaction from people such as Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in due course. "They've had a lot to say on whether migrants are being enabled in the crossing," he added.
In another clip, French lifeboat members are seen handing out lifejackets to migrants about to make the crossing to the UK.
"They are right up beside the boat, but are they pushing it back? No, they are giving out lifejackets to these migrants," he expanded.
GB News host Tom Harwood interjected: "It's hard to view that footage as anything other than facilitation from the French authorities, thinking, 'Good stuff, you know that. These people are leaving France, and we can push them on their way to the UK.'"
His co-host, Emily Carver, gasped as she clearly appeared shocked: "I think that's one of the most damning videos you've shown us."
This year alone, more than 21,000 illegal migrants have crossed the Channel into Britain in small boats.
