In a teaser for Saturday's (19 April) episode of the ITV talent show, the final round of auditions take place, with Simon joined by Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and KSI on the judging panel.

A clip has revealed that proceedings were brought to a halt due toan audience member who was desperate to audition for BGT, and decided to try his chances. After calling Simon's name from the crowd several times, he shouts: "19 years I've tried to get in front of you and I've never ever had that chance. Can you give me one opportunity? I can show you what I've got."

Clearly taken aback, Simon stands up and looks for the audience member, revealed to be singer Max Fox. He asks: "Come here, are you serious? Hang on, is this a wind up?"

Max makes his way down to the front of the audience, where the judges are sat, but Simon's security guards are quick to intervene. The judge insists everything is fine, dismissing the security workers and giving Max a chance to explain.

"No, I'm a singer. I'm a local singer. My name's Max, Max Fox," he tells Simon. "I feel like it's my last time."

Alesha, Amanda and KSI sit in shock as they watch the scenes unfold, with KSI remarking that he'd "never seen this" happen before.

Simon tells Max: "Alright, go do it. So this isn't a set up? You just chanced it?" to which he responds: "I just chanced it, yeah. I got to the front of the audience and I just got lucky with this jacket, I think!"
