Plus II Student Found Dead At Rented Govt Quarters In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A Plus II girl student was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a government quarters at Unit-6 area in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.

According to sources, the deceased, originally from Pathuria in Jagatsinghpur district, was found hanging with a rope inside the rented quarters she shared with her elder sister.The incident took place while the elder sister was away. Upon returning, she found her sister hanging.

On being informed, Capital police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to her death. The body has been sent to Capital Hospital for a postmortem.

No statement could be obtained from the family regarding the incident.
