According to reports, Pankaj Dheer, who played the role of Karna in director BR Chopra's most popular TV serial, Mahabharata, passed away on Wednesday? He was 68 years old. CINTAA member Amit Bahl confirmed the news of his death. Sources say Pankaj had been battling cancer for some time. Although he fought it, the disease resurfaced a few months ago, and his condition worsened. It is being reported that he had recently undergone a major surgery related to this disease. According to media reports, his last rites will be performed on Wednesday at 4:30 pm at Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle, Mumbai.
