Ozzy Osbourne's utterly heartbreaking last nod to his wife Sharon has been revealed. Last month, the world was left in a state of disbelief when the Osbourne family confirmed that the music icon had sadly died at the age of 76.
The news came just days after Ozzy performed what was billed as his farewell concert, Back to the Beginning, with his Black Sabbath bandmates in his beloved hometown of Birmingham. He also met fans at a Comic Con event in the days leading up to his death.
Earlier this week,Ozzy's death certificate confirmed the cause of the Prince of Darkness's death, revealing he died following an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction (joint causes). It comes after Sharon Osbourne breaks down in tears at Ozzy's funeral in heartbreaking scenes.

It also confirmed that his cause of death was officially registered at a hospital local to the family estate in Buckinghamshire. In England, regulations state that a doctor who attended the deceased or has knowledge of their medical history can sign the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death.
After the MCCD is completed, it is reviewed by a medical examiner, who later submits it to the registrar. Ozzy, who was registered as John Michael Osbourne, otherwise known as Ozzy Osbourne, had his occupation listed as: "Songwriter, performer and Rock legend". It added a sweet nod to Sharon, as it continued: "Husband of Sharon Rachel Osbourne, Music Artist Manager." Sharon became Ozzy's manager in 1979 after he was fired from Black Sabbath. It was also around this time that she and the Aston-born legend started dating one another.
Confirming that Ozzy had died last month, a statement from the family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis."
Since the death of the musician, who has been hailed as one of the best of his time, his son Jack has spoken out. Taking to Instagram earlier today, Jack said: "I haven't really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much. I’m gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches.
"He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him 'Dad'. My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man, and I know that is such a blessing. I think this quote best describes my father.
"Hunter S. Thompson once said: 'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body... but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a ride!' That was my dad. He lived and he lived his life fully. I love you dad."
Meanwhile, Ozzy and Sharon's daughter, Kelly said on Monday: "I've sat down to write this a hundred times and still don't know if the words will ever feel like enough... but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. The love, support, and beautiful messages I've received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain.
"Grief is a strange thing—it sneaks up on you in waves-I will not be ok for a while-but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I'm holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind. Thank you for being there. I love you all so much. Kelly #BirminghamForever #OzzyForever."
Following his death, heavy metal lovers from across the globe flocked to his hometown, leaving floral tributes on the Black Sabbath bridge and bench on Broad Street in the city centre, which was inspected by a heartbroken Sharon, Aimee, Kelly, Jack and Louis, who also laid their own tribute.
It has since been confirmed by Birmingham City Council that all the tributes left will be sent to the Osbourne family, with the flowers being scattered around Ozzy's grave on their Buckinghamshire estate. The flowers left will be mulched before being scattered, while drawings and letters will be delivered to Ozzy's loved ones.
