This weekend, Channel 4viewers are set for a real treat as a brand new reality programme launches, offering 13 contestants the opportunity to scoop a massive cash windfall.
Called The Inheritance, the captivating series will see a group of individuals called to a magnificent country estate to battle for a portion of the wealth bequeathed in the testament of 'The Deceased', portrayed byElizabeth Hurley.
Nevertheless, it won't prove quite so simple as The Deceased has devised a sequence of challenges the participants must undertake to attempt securing her legacy.

Presenter Rob Rinder, assuming the position of The Deceased's Executor and reliable legal advisor, will supervise the competitors as they tackle the tasks.

A description for the programme states: "The lucky thirteen must work as a team to complete The Deceased's final requests, a series of devilishly difficult assignments that will demand they are clever, collaborative and cunning.
"The Deceased's game has a delicious twist: only one player can claim the money gained in each request, so it's up to one of them to persuade the others that they alone deserve the cash they earn together."
Yet, whilst appearing on Friday's edition of The One Show, the 60-year-old chatted to presenters JB Gill and Lauren Laverne about the upcoming programme, revealing one startling admission, reports the Express.
Throughout the discussion, she confessed to never encountering the participants, despite fulfilling a crucial part in the series.
When asked to elaborate on her role, Liz responded: "I never actually met any of them, of course, because my character wasn't there! I was on VHS tape, which they watch on a very old TV set."
Despite not having the chance to meet the contestants vying for the cash prize, Liz had nothing but kind words for host Robert Rinder, confessing she's quite fond of him.
She further added: "He was my sidekick, who of course I never meet, because I'm dead and he's there with the contestants.
"So, I never really mingled with any of them, I was just sadly by myself to film my bits. But, I've seen it, and it's great!"
The first episode of the series is scheduled to air on Sunday night as the players are immediately thrown into the thick of it with their first request from 'the deceased'.
The Inheritance kicks off Sunday, 31 August at 9pm.
