Fans were left in tears during the emotional scenes, but there was one thing about the Queen Vic that they couldn't help but notice - that it still looks exactly the same. Fans were left baffled when they saw the interior inside the Vic as landlady had previously been talking about redecorating with a new look.
When Linda, Elaine and George walked into the pub, it looked exactly the same as before. After the big reveal, fans took to social media to air their confusion as one penned: "They didn't even bother re-vamp the Vic up???? ".
A second echoed: "Lmaoo one moment i thought the vic would look so different but it’s exactly the same!"
"Fantastic episode with the clips woven in together for VE Day but the Vic… why not use this as an excuse to remodel PLS??? Should have given it a refurb instead of looking exactly the same," as a fourth agreed: "Brilliant episode but why does the 'vic' look exactly the same after all the talk of changing it ?"
However, in recent episodes, Linda had spoken about keeping the look "close to the original" to give the punters a sense of familiarity - and some fans are glad they did. "I'm so glad they didn't change the Vic, looks perfect as it is," penned one.
It looks like there's more events and drama to come in the Vic in the coming weekswill be held in the pub, but things of course, won't be running smoothly...
