Ian Wright has tipped to WIN the next season - but only if they make some serious signings. The North London side have gone close over the past three campaigns under .
They finished marginally behind in 2023 and 2024, while they were also beaten to the punch by in their most recent season. With the 2025/26 campaign still a few months away, icon has been tasked to give his verdict on his former side’s chances.
He believes that Mikel Arteta’s side could finally end their long wait for a league title should they make a few additions over the coming months. Speaking on the , he said: “I think they'll win the Premier League next season because I want them to do that and I believe that they're getting closer. I think it's unlucky this season, simply the injuries and some of the decisions.
“But they're going to need to make some signings to give them all a boost in there. But I'm going to go with Arsenal to win the League again. Absolutely.
“Obviously, Liverpool are going to be a different entity. City can't do what they've done again. , now that they've got into , there might be signings. It's going to be a tougher league next year, but I'm going to say Arsenal are going to go and do it.”

Arsenal already appear to be heeding Wright’s advice, with a busy summer expected at the Emirates Stadium. has been identified as a major addition and is expected to complete a £51m move to North London.
Meanwhile, Arteta could choose to add a striker to his squad over the next few weeks. Sporting Lisbon star Viktor Gyokeres is an option, while RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko is an alternative to the Swedish forward.
"I think that mentality-wise, [the squad] is very strong and it's going to be vital who he adds to that group," Wright added when asked about those signings. "Apparently [Martin] Zubimendi's there, they’re talking about Gyokeres.

"Whether it's Sesko, I don't know who it's going to be, but I believe that we need a main striker, another forward, I’ll probably have a backup centre-half. I would have loved us to buy [Dean] Huijsen off of , but he's gone to . They saw it, and they just come in and go 'bang.'”
