Gangster Salman Tyagi has committed suicide in Delhi's Mandoli jail. His body was found hanging from a bedsheet in barrack number 15 of the jail. The jail administration brought down his body and sent it for a postmortem. Let us tell you, Salman Tyagi was convicted in the MCOCA case and was in jail since then.
Dozens of cases, like murder, extortion, Arms Act were registered against Salman Tyagi. Police say that the investigation of the case is ongoing. Efforts are being made to find out why he took such a step as suicide.
According to police records, Salman Tyagi was an active criminal in Delhi and surrounding areas. He had been to jail many times. According to sources in the jail administration, when the prisoners were being counted during patrolling in the morning, Salman was found hanging in his barrack.
When the news of this incident spread, there was a stir in the jail. After this suicide case, questions started being raised on the security
system of the jail. Despite tight security in the jail, Salman Tyagi must have collected the material to make the noose and the jail administration did not even get a clue about it.
At present, a joint team of the jail administration and the police is investigating whether Salman Tyagi took help from someone or did this alone. If he took help from someone, then he must have already known about Salman's move. Now other prisoners living around Salman Tyagi are also being questioned.
