Western Railway Introduces Summer Special Trains To Ease Travel Demand, Extends Key Services; Check Routes

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand especially during the summer season, Western Railway has decided to run three Special Trains on Special Fare to various destinations. Besides this, WR has has decided to extend the trips of Train No. 09189/09190 Mumbai Central - Katihar Weekly Special train on Special fare on existing composition, timings, and stoppages, etc.

According to Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, train No. 09067 Udhna – Jaynagar Special will depart from Udhna every Sunday at 12.20  pm and reach Jaynagar at 8.50 pm, the next day. This train will run from 4th May to 25th May, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09068 Jaynagar – Udhna Special will depart from Jaynagar every Monday at 11.50 pm and reach Udhna at 12.15 pm, on Wednesday. This train will run from 5th May to 26th May, 2025. 

Enroute this train will halt at Chalthan, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi Jn, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur Jn, Prayagraj Cheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur Jn, Muzaffarpur Jn, Samastipur Jn, Darbhanga Jn and Madhubani stations in both directions. This train comprises of General Second Class coaches.

Similarly, train No. 09069 Udhna - Samastipur Special will depart from Udhna every Saturday at 8.35 pm and will reach Samastipur at 02.35 am on Monday. This train will run from 3rd May to 31st May, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09070 Samastipur - Udhna Special will depart from Samastipur every Monday at 05.00 am  & will arrive Udhna at 2.00 pm, the next day. This train will run from 5th May to 2nd June, 2025.

Enroute this train will halt at Chalthan, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi Jn, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur Jn, Prayagraj Cheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur Jn and Muzaffarpur Jn stations in both directions.This train comprises of Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

In addition to that, train No. 09407 Ahmedabad - Danapur Special will depart Ahmedabad every Tuesday at 09.20 am and will reach Danapur at ,7 pm the next day. This train will run from 6th May to 17 June, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09408 Danapur - Ahmedabad Special will depart from Danapur every Wednesday at 10.30 pm & will reach Ahmedabad at 06.00 am on Friday. This train will run from 7th May to 18th June, 2025.

Western Railway Announces Summer Special Trains to Jaynagar, Samastipur, Danapur and Katihar

Enroute this train will halt at Nadiad, Chhayapuri, Ratlam, Ujjain, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bina, Saugor, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Satna, Manikpur Jn, Prayagraj Cheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar and Ara station in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second-Class Coaches.

Apart from that train No. 09189 Mumbai Central - Katihar Weekly Special has been extended up to 31st May, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09190 Katihar – Mumbai Central Weekly Special has been extended up to 3rd June, 2025.
