Uttar Pradesh Health Department is gearing up to provide medical test reports directly to patient's mobile devices, eliminating the need for physical collection. This new system, currently being rolled out across the state, will deliver reports via SMS, WhatsApp, and the Personal Health Record (PHR) portal. This facility is already active in Lucknow hospitals.
To implement this, Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) in all district hospitals and community health centers are being integrated with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). Under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, patient test results will be directly accessible on their PHR portal or mobile app.
