Satna (Madhya Pradesh): Head constable Prince, shot by a criminal on the premises of Jaitwara police station in the early hours of April 29 in Satna, died on Friday.
According to reports, a masked criminal identified as Adarsh Sharma shot Prince. The bullet hit him in the shoulder.
Prince was rushed to the district hospital from where doctors referred him to the Rewa Medical College and Hospital. As his conditions deteriorated, he was airlifted to Delhi on the night of May 7.
He was under treatment at Max Hospital
Prince’s family sought help from the BJP’s district unit president, Bhagwati Pandey. Pandey spoke to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. He was then airlifted. He was under treatment at Max Hospital. His injured collarbone developed an infection.
Prince was going to dine after completing his duty
The police arrested Sharma after a short encounter. Prince was living in a barrack on the police station premises.
