On Saturday, a new promo from the serial Anupamaa, starring Rupali Ganguly, was unveiled. The clip showed Raahi (Choti Anu) yelling at her mother Anupamaa for saving 'criminal' Raghav from jail — the same man who earlier tried to allegedly kill Raahi. This led to a heated confrontation between the mother and daughter, where Raahi once again blamed Anupamaa and reminded her how she had previously ignored both her and Anuj in favor of trusting Toshu (Anupamaa’s son), and yet again accused her of now ignoring her daughter yet again — this time, for a criminal.
Soon after the promo was released, netizens slammed the makers of Anupamaa, calling it the "worst show ever to exist." Several users pointed out that the same old drama has returned — with Anupamaa back to sobbing and desperately trying to win her daughter's heart, while Raahi continues to throw shade and insult her at every turn.

Here's how netizens reacted:
A user commented, "Chote bacho wala reaction kyun deti hai Anupamaa. First, the way she was holding her ears while apologizing then cuddling while crying."
While another wrote, "Suri suri suri bhai/behen meri galti thi.... Maa apne bacho ke leye kitna karti hai kya uske pass overacting tak ka bhi adhikaar nahi. Jao Maa Anupamaa Anupamaaaaa karlo over acting." Another comment read, "It's getting worse day by day; honestly anupama become so annoying."
"Iska fir natak chalu huaa," said another user. While another comment read, "This is the worst show to exist. Rajan Shahi ke cheap thoughts pure is show se dikh rahe hai."

Anupamaa is produced by Rajan Shahi. Earlier, the show featured Sudhanshu Pandey, Gaurav Khanna, and Madalsa Sharma.
However, after the leap, they quit the serial. Except for Anupamaa, Leela (Alpana Buch), and Hasmukh aka Bapuji (Arvind Vaidya), all the old actors have left the show.
