Two lecturers from a private college and their friend have been arrested in Bengaluru's Moodabidri for allegedly raping a college student on multiple occasions and blackmailing her with videos and photos.
According to reports, the incident came to light after the accused blackmailed the victim and demanded further sexual favours. Unable to endure the abuse, the student confided in her parents, who then approached the Karnataka Women's Commission.

In her complaint to police, victim has alleged that Narendra initially contacted the student under the guise of providing study materials, gradually building a relationship through persistent communication. He later invited her to Anoop's residence in Bengaluru, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her and threatened severe consequences if she disclosed the incident.

When the student resisted, he allegedly blackmailed her, claiming to possess compromising photos and recordings of her with Narendra. Sandeep then sexually assaulted her at Anoop's residence.
Anoop later intimidated the student using CCTV footage of her entering his property and subsequently raped her.
Distraught, the victim disclosed the ordeal to her parents during their visit to Bengaluru. The family reported the matter to the Karnataka State Women's Commission before filing a formal complaint at Marathahalli Police Station.
All three accused—the two lecturers and Anoop—have been arrested and produced before a magistrate.
