Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The department of pharmacology at AIIMS, Bhopal, in association with the department of community and family medicine, organised an awareness campaign for rural communities on possible adverse events related to medical devices on Sunday.
The aim of this initiative was to inform about the importance of identifying and reporting adverse events associated with medical devices such as stents, pacemakers, implants, and others.

AIIMS Bhopal functions as a Medical Devices Adverse Event Reporting Monitoring Centre (MDMCs) and also as a Regional Training Centre (RTC-M) for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Recently, an E-Vehicle Facility has been launched at AIIMS Bhopal making Intra-Hospital Travel Easy for Patients. AIIMS Bhopal, prioritizing patient convenience, is providing a free e-vehicle service within the hospital campus.
Through this facility, patients and their accompanying attendants can easily commute from one service center to another within the hospital premises. It offers adequate seating, providing special relief to the elderly, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and critically ill patients.
