Navratri Ashtami Puja Method
Bath in the morning and wear clean clothes.
Clean the place of worship and sprinkle Ganga water.
Anoint Goddess Mahagauri with Ganga water and install her at the place of worship.
Offer red sandalwood paste, unbroken rice grains, red flowers, and a red scarf to the Goddess.
Offer fruits, kheer, and sweets as offerings.
Light a lamp and incense sticks and recite Durga Saptashati and Durga Chalisa.
Perform a havan (fire sacrifice) and perform aarti (aarti) with camphor placed on a betel leaf.
At the end of the puja, apologize to the Mother Goddess for any shortcomings.
