The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will open registrations for the CA January 2026 exams on Monday, November 3, 2025. Candidates appearing for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses can apply online through the official website at icai.org.
Final course examination
The CA Final Course Examination will be held from January 5 to 16, 2026. Group I exams are scheduled for January 5, 7, and 9, while Group II exams will be conducted on January 11, 13, and 16.
Intermediate course examination
The Intermediate Course Examination will take place from January 6 to 17, 2026. Group I exams are set for January 6, 8, and 10, while Group II exams are scheduled for January 12, 15, and 17.
Foundation course examination
The Foundation Course Examination will be conducted on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026.
How to apply for ICAI CA January 2026 exam
No examinations will be held on January 14, 2026, on account of Makar Sankranti, Magha Bihu, and Pongal.
Exam timings and duration
Foundation Paper 1 and 2 will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM, and Papers 3 and 4 from 2 PM to 4 PM. Intermediate and Final papers (except Paper 6) will be from 2 PM to 5 PM, while Final Paper 6 and Post Qualification Course (INTT–AT) papers will run from 2 PM to 6 PM. The IRM Technical Examination will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM.
A 15-minute advance reading time from 1:45 PM to 2 PM will be allowed for all papers except Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and Post Qualification Course papers.

Application window and late fees
Online submission of application forms will begin on November 3, 2025, and continue till November 16 without a late fee. Candidates can apply until November 19 with a late fee of ₹600 or US $10.
The correction window to change the exam city or medium will be open from November 20 to 22, 2025.
Exam fees for Indian centres
ICAI has stated that there will be no change in the examination schedule even if any date coincides with a public holiday declared by the Central or State Government or local authorities.
Final course examination
The CA Final Course Examination will be held from January 5 to 16, 2026. Group I exams are scheduled for January 5, 7, and 9, while Group II exams will be conducted on January 11, 13, and 16.

- Final Course: ₹1,800 for a single group and ₹3,300 for both groups

- International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT): ₹2,000
- Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination: ₹2,000
