The match 36 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is currently underway at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Usually, a high-scoring thriller will happen at this venue, but this match has unfolded on a flat pitch, resulting in a modest total. MI skipper won the toss and elected to field first. SRH struggled throughout their innings, managing to post 162 runs for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
IPL is known for its explosive boundaries and towering sixes, and also synonymous with its glamour, featuring cheerleaders who hype up the crowd with every big shot. However, in this low-scoring affair, boundaries were very less and came mostly during the final overs.
During the silent phases of the game, the SRH cheerleaders were seen spending time with IPL's new innovation for the season, a robot dog, the league’s official pet. The cheerleaders shared some light-hearted moments with the robot on the dance floor, smiling and enjoying the brief dose of off-field entertainment. Over the years, the IPL has blended cricket with entertainment, glamour, and innovation.

For MI, Will Jacks delivered an impressive spell, picking up two wickets in three overs, conceding just 14 runs.
Meanwhile, MI are 7th in the points table and SRH are in 9th position, where both teams need this victory to stay in the contest.
