Haryana has taken a big step toward women’s empowerment by launching the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, a welfare scheme aimed at providing direct financial assistance to women from low-income families. On September 25, 2025, the state government rolled out a dedicated mobile application on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, allowing women to apply for the scheme right from their phones. Eligible women will receive ₹2,100 per month directly into their bank accounts starting November 1, 2025.
The launch has generated massive enthusiasm. Within just a few hours of the app going live, it was downloaded over one lakh times, signaling the strong demand and excitement among women across the state.
What is the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana?This scheme is specially designed for women between 23 and 60 years of age who are permanent residents of Haryana. To qualify, the applicant’s annual household income must not exceed ₹1 lakh. Each family can nominate up to three women to avail of the benefit.
At the official launch in Panchkula, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini highlighted that the initiative is not just about providing financial support but also about promoting economic independence and dignity for women.
How to Check Eligibility on the Mobile AppThe new mobile application makes it easy for women to check their eligibility before applying. The process is simple:

Download the Lado Laxmi Yojana App on your smartphone.

Select the “Check Eligibility” option.

Enter details such as marital status, age (23–60 years), Haryana residency, and employment status.

Provide the family’s annual income.

If all conditions are met, a message will confirm: “You are eligible to apply.”
Women can complete the application process in just six steps without visiting any government office:
Personal Details – Fill in the applicant’s name, date of birth, age, and duration of residence in Haryana.
Address Details – Provide the complete home address, district, village, and pincode.
Family Information – Submit details of all family members along with Aadhaar and Family ID numbers.
Income Details – Enter the family’s total annual income, sources of income, and upload supporting documents. (Only families with annual income up to ₹1 lakh are eligible.)
Bank Information – Add the applicant’s active bank account number, branch details, IFSC code, and ensure Aadhaar is linked. The registered mobile number should also be active.
Live Verification – The app requires a live photo of the applicant through the phone’s front camera. The applicant must smile and blink during the capture to prevent fraud. After this, submit the application.
