NLC Vacancy 2025: Vacancy for which posts?

Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) has released vacancies for a total of 171 posts, which include 102 posts of Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade - 1) and 69 posts of Junior Overman (Trainee). Out of 102 posts of Mining Sirdar, 59 are reserved for the General Category, 24 posts for SC, 10 posts for EWS, 8 posts for OBC, and one post for SC. Similarly, out of a total of 69 posts of Junior Overman Trainee, 31 posts are available for General Category, 18 posts for OBC, 13 posts for SC, 6 posts for EWS, and one post for SC.

Who can apply?
Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) has prescribed different qualifications for both posts. Under this, for Junior Overman, the candidate must have a diploma in mining engineering or a related field, an Overman Qualification Certificate issued by the Directorate General of Mine Safety (DGMS), First Aid Certificate.

Mining Sardar (Selection Grade-I): To apply for this post, the candidates must have a diploma or degree in any subject and, a Mining Sardar Qualification Certificate issued by DGMS. As far as the age limit is concerned, the maximum age has been fixed at 30 years. Candidates of reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.

Application Fee

For the recruitments in Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), applicants will also have to deposit some fee. To apply for the post of Junior Overman, General / OBC / EWS will have to pay a fee of Rs 595, and SC / ST / ESM will have to pay a fee of Rs 295. For Mining Sardar, the application fee is Rs 486 for General / OBC / EWS and Rs 236 for SC / ST / ESM.
