Everyone dreams of becoming an officer. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced recruitment for the positions of Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO). The preliminary examination has been completed, and the results have been released. Candidates are now preparing for the Mains.
In such a situation, if candidates study with the right strategy and planning, the path to success can be easier. Today, we are telling you what preparation strategy should be adopted for the RO/ARO Mains examination. Let's hear from experts...
Candidates should avoid mental stress.
Expert Rajneesh Kumar Pandey told Local 18 that students preparing for exams often experience mental stress. He said, "This is normal to some extent, because the student who works hard is the one who is most concerned about success." He suggested that students should study patiently and with a positive mindset. Don't take mental stress negatively; instead, use it as motivation.
Practice with old question papers
Rajneesh further explained that candidates preparing for the main exam should thoroughly study previous question papers. Previous years' question papers give candidates an idea of the types of questions asked in the exam and the topics that receive the most attention. He advised that candidates should practice regularly and solve old questions to maintain both speed and accuracy in answer writing.
Pay special attention to current affairs.
The expert advised that candidates should pay special attention to their short notes in the final stage, revising the sequence of historical events, major articles of the Constitution, rivers and waterfalls in geography, and special facts related to the state. He said that students should devote approximately 70% of their preparation time to current affairs.
National and international events of the last six months, government schemes, and Uttar Pradesh-specific topics such as the census, major schemes, and development projects – all require at least two hours of daily focus. Rajneesh said that there are some topics that are asked every year, hence students should try to remember factual data.
