Manchester United are on the brink of finalising negotiations with Juventus for the transfer of Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils are keen to offload Sancho, who has been excluded from first-team training by Ruben Amorim, and it seems their wish is about to be granted.
Amorimhas imposed a ban on Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrrell Malacia from attending the training ground at the same time as the first team. They are currently required to arrive after 5pm, once everyone else has left, in order to maintain their fitness.
This 'bomb squad' strategy has sparked controversy at United– but it appears to be yielding results with Sancho, as his move to Juventus is imminent. The winger seemed destined to join Chelseaat the end of the season following a loan spell with the Blues.

However, Chelsea declined the chance to sign him on a permanent basis, opting instead to pay a £5million fee rather than fork out £25million for his services. Sancho then agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce for a transfer, only for that deal to fall through.
Fortunately for United, Juventus have stepped in and Italian media outlet Sportmediaset reports that there is now a 'full agreement' with Sancho for a four-year contract worth €6million (£5.2million) per year. The Italian heavyweights are also nearing an agreement with United, reports the Mirror.
Juve initially tabled a £15million (€17million) bid, but are now prepared to match United's asking price of €25million (£21.6million) – a sum that includes easily achievable add-ons and severance pay for Sancho, who is taking a pay cut to make the move to Turin.
Sancho currently earns around £300,000 per week at United, where his contract runs until June 2026. Fenerbahce had been ready to offer him €10million (£8.5million) annually, but that potential switch to Jose Mourinho's side fell through.
Juve are reportedly optimistic about finalising the deal before Thursday after Sancho's agent spent time in Turin this week to negotiate terms. The transfer will mark the end of the 25-year-old's disappointing stint at United, who shelled out £73million to bring him in from Borussia Dortmund in 2021.
The winger has managed just 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances for United, but maintains a solid reputation elsewhere. He netted five times and provided 10 assists in 42 outings across all competitions for Chelsea last season, contributing to their Conference League triumph, and had an impressive spell at Dortmund prior to that.
